Virgin Trains & CLIC Sargent
are proud to support children and young people with cancer throughout their journey

Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. CLIC Sargent helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment...and continues to support them afterwards.

As the UK's leading children's cancer charity, CLIC Sargent is the only organisation to offer them all round care and support and plays a crucial role in helping patients and family members cope by providing a range of services both at home and during hospital stays.

Virgin Trains is proud to support CLIC Sargent and be part of the journey. Our staff and customers have raised over £280,000 since the partnership began in 2009 through both fundraising and sponsorship activities at our stations, in our offices and beyond, and we've pledged to raise another £100,000 in 2011. Thanks to all our staff and customers who have donated their time and money to help this very worthy cause.

Virgin Trains offer a very family friendly way of travelling with one of the most experienced train companies in Britain, having been around for over 12 years, sending Pendolino and Super Voyager trains speeding between different destinations all over the country.  They want families to feel at home with kids' activity tables in selected waiting rooms, VKids fun bags and baby changing facilities onboard, they're always trying out new ideas to keep families happy all the way.

If you're travelling with kids aged between 3 and 6 ask for the new VKids Bags, bursting with goodies to keep them entertained.  They'll discover a multi-colour colouring pencil, a chalkboard, the new fun magazine, stickers, a notepad, activity ideas plus their favourite faces from home, such as Peppa Pig and Ben 10. It's all about making the journey as enjoyable as possible for the whole family and they are free from The Shop!

Also look for the Family & Friends Railcard which allows up to 4 adults and 4 kids to travel on one card - and they don't have to be part of the same family. For even greater savings, you can also use the Family & Friends Railcard on Advance fares.
